"The online taxation program is 10 courses. There are five core courses that you must take and then you have five electives. We’ve tried to arrange the electives to be what we call a corporate track and an individual track, but you’re not held to only taking the corporate track or the individual track." — Professor Timothy Gagnon

"The biggest difference that I’ve seen since starting the program is the amount of responsibility that I’ve been given. One of the reasons why I decided to get a Master of Science in Taxation was to develop kind of a broad framework of each individual area, but also the taxation system as a whole. Through the core courses and then the elective courses, I’ve really been able to get to the point where I can recognize issues and have a framework with which I can operate." — Matthew Hitchcock, CPA, Online MST'16

"I decided to pursue the dual degree program after the first year of my MBA. My line of work required proficiency in the deeper aspects of finance. The program has had a tremendous impact on my career. I feel more confident and I’ve been promoted at work." — Vaidyanathan Kasi, Online MSF/MBA’15

"I developed and teach the portfolio management course. This has everything you wanted to know about portfolio management, but were afraid to ask. This provides students with an overview of both macro and microeconomics in a five-week class.” — Professor Jeffery Born

"I teach fixed income securities online at Northeastern. The course is really about economics and I teach it as a broad overview looking at how fixed income interacts with the broader investment world. For example, we spend a lot of time talking about the fed and how the fed works and short-term interest rates." — Professor Nicole Boyson

"I chose this program because I wanted to further my career and move more into the investment management side of the business and this program offered me the flexibility to do my work from home without having to commute into Boston to take classes.” — Scott Desmond, Online MSF'14
