The Doctor of Law and Policy program (DLP) is designed for experienced professionals interested in the origins, development, implementation, and analysis of legal and public policy decisions in healthcare, government, and related institutions. Northeastern’s DLP program empowers leaders to advance their careers with a deeper understanding of public policy and succeed in an increasingly complex global environment.

The demand for information technology talent continues to increase, and this trend will only grow over time. Our program provides hands-on experience with the tools that employers expect. But even more importantly, our program fosters the critical thinking skills that help make sure our students will be able to handle future skills and tools that our profession hasn’t yet invented. We help students develop the communication and teamwork skills that IT professionals use to understand business needs and work with a variety of users to create highly effective solutions.

Individuals can expect to receive an estimated 13 to 25 percent increase in salary after having earned a graduate certificate (Forbes).
Certificates can be taken in addition to or in combination with a master’s degree, or provide a pathway to a master’s degree in Northeastern’s College of Engineering.
