Master of Legal Studies

The Master of Legal Studies is for non-lawyer professionals who work regularly with lawyers and legal issues. It was created specifically for those who do not wish to practice law, but would like to use the law as a means to achieve goals in environments where law is too often seen as an obstacle.

JD/MS in Law and Public Policy

The combined JD/MS in Law and Public Policy provides NU law students with core competencies in research methods, applied microeconomics, policy analysis, and program evaluation. Students in the JD/MS program thus complement their legal training with skills designed to enable them to design and promote effective policies.
