Northeastern University's Advanced Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing program is designed to prepare nurses to provide a broad range of mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Nurses who possess a Master of Science in Nursing degree are eligible for the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in this specialization.

Clinical practica are available across a variety of sectors of the healthcare system regionally or in the Boston area, including private, public, and community-based settings, community mental health centers, and outpatient clinics.
