Program Experience
Master of Public Health/1-Year Accelerated students will participate in an intensive practicum that gives them the opportunity to synthesize, integrate, and apply practical skills and knowledge learned in class to professional experience in a public health work environment.
Your practicum experiences include a three-credit course and an assignment in a community environment such as a hospital, community health center, government agency, community organization, research institution, advocacy and policy organization, and private institution. During the practicum, you will have an opportunity to become engaged in the everyday workings of the organization.
