The Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program is a specialization within the MS Nursing program that prepares graduates to provide acute, chronic and end-of-life specialized primary care to adults and older adults in a variety of settings.

The Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program is a specialty track within the MS Nursing program that prepares nurses to provide acute, chronic and end-of-life specialized primary care, to adults and older adults in a variety of settings. Our curriculum is solutions-focused, providing the skills you need to lead in the healthcare field with coursework relevant to real-world work opportunities.

There are 2 Clinical Intensive weekends in the curriculum. One is scheduled in the first year of classes and the second one is in your last semester of your specialty track. You are required to come to campus for these Clinical Intensives and will have the opportunity to meet your faculty, participate in High Fidelity Simulation and refine your Advanced Practice Skills with professional patients and individual instruction.
